Fundraiser to Benefit Friends of Peter Igo Park

What is it"?":

  • Teams of 10 players concurrently compete in 5 sports: bocce, tennis, volleyball, pickleball and basketball.

Eligibility:

  • Teams of 10 adults (18+)

  • Minimum: 5 teams

  • Maximum: 10 teams

Format & Rules:

  • Single elimination (once a team loses in a sport, the team is done competing in that sport)

  • Quintathalon scoring: 10 points for winning a sport competition, 5 points for second place a sport competition. Quintathalon champion is the team with the most points at the end of day. In the unlikely event of a tie, the champion will be the team that wins a doubles corn hole game.

  • Sport Formats:

    • Bocce: Four person teams. Games to 15, win by 2

    • Tennis: Doubles, 8 game sets, 2nd deuce game point

    • Volleyball: Four person teams. Games to 15, win by 2

    • Pickleball: Doubles. Games to 15, win by 2

    • Basketball: 4 person teams, half-court, 1 point/basket, games to 15 win by 2

Prizes:

  • Awarded to Championship team and runner-up team

Cost:

  • $50/player
