The Marshfield Tennis Club is dedicated to providing first-rate instructional and developmental opportunities to wheelchair athletes of all ages and backgrounds. The goal, above all else, is for the athletes to learn the sport of tennis and have fun.

MTC has recently partnered with several organizations including the Wounded Warrior Project, the USTA, the Veteran's Administration, South Shore Hospital Physical Therapy personnel, the Marshfield Veteran's Agency, and the local chapter of the DAV to offer an exceptional wheelchair tennis program.

The Marshfield Tennis Club is committed to delivering the best tennis wheelchair program on the South Shore:

  • MTC recently purchased two new sport wheelchairs
  • Several members/instructors have been trained and certified in tennis wheelchair instruction
  • Worked closely with the South Shore Emilson YMCA to offer wheelchair tennis clinics

MTC is dedicated to work with wheelchair athletes in the community as well as Wounded Warriors. We partner with the South Shore Emilson YMCA in Hanover, MA during the winter months. During spring & summer months, all activity is held outdoors at Peter Igo Park in Marshfield, MA. Please join us on the courts for the perfect therapy in the "fastest growing segment of tennis nationwide".

If anyone is interested in learning more about wheelchair tennis, please contact MTC President, Bud Duksta (bud@marshfieldtennis.com) or (781) 706-8027.
