The SSYMCA 3.5 Women's 40+ USTA team had a great season this year and will be heading to the Nationals. Their regular season record was 9-1, which began in May, 2013. These ladies are great representatives of the Life Sport of Tennis and a perfect example of how teamwork pays off. Coached by longtime Tennis Professional Kevin O'Hare and representing the South Shore YMCA , Emilson Branch in Hanover the team moves on to the Nationals in Indian Wells, California starting in October.
The Marshfield Tennis Club is quite proud of the entire team and Coach Kevin. We are thrilled that Captain Sarah Crossman, Nancy Sanborn and Jessica Rego are Marshfield Tennis Club members.
We can't wait for the Nationals and when they return, they can show off their skills on the new Peter Igo Park courts!!
