As Christmas Break is upon us, the Marshfield High School students have nearly completed the roof on the Peter Igo shed in time for Steve Vining's crew of Vining & Fletcher Roofing to shingle the roof.
Progress will continue over the winter to remove overgrown vegetation and leveling the entire southeast quadrant to make a clear passable entry to the Green Harbor River trail. Copious amounts of wood chips will fill this space to give the entire area a very natural look. A great place for dog walkers.
Also, the "Friends of Peter Igo" (501c non-profit organization) fundraising efforts are currently in place to complete a children's play area and fitness stations in 2015.
